The Mail Station – Terms & Conditions

1.1 Authorized Agent & USPS Form 1583:

By renting a mailbox, you authorize The Mail Station to act as your Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA) and to receive mail and packages on your behalf in compliance with USPS regulations, including completion of USPS Form 1583.

1.2 Mail Delivery:

Once mail or packages are placed in your assigned mailbox, they are deemed delivered to you.

1.3 Package Pickup:

Packages too large for your mailbox or requiring a signature will be held for pickup. A late or handling fee may apply if packages are not picked up within posted timeframes.

1.4 Refusal of Mail:

The Mail Station reserves the right to refuse or return items that violate USPS regulations, contain hazardous materials, or are unusually large in volume.

2.1

A refundable key deposit may be required; keys remain the property of The Mail Station.

2.2

Keys must be returned within ten (10) days of service termination to receive a deposit refund.

2.3

Unauthorized duplication of keys is prohibited.

3.1

Customers must comply with all USPS, state, and federal regulations.

3.2

Proper addressing, including PMB or # designation, is required. Incorrectly addressed mail may be refused or returned.

3.3

Failure to comply may result in immediate service termination without refund.

4.1

Each mailbox may receive mail for up to three (3) names or businesses without written approval. Additional names may incur fees.

4.2

Excessive mail or unusually high package volume may require upgrading to a larger box or paying additional fees.

4.3

Upon service termination, The Mail Station may hold mail for up to 180 days per USPS DMM 508 1.8.3. Mail forwarding requires prepayment of applicable fees.

5.1

Customer information is kept confidential and will only be released to law enforcement, USPS, or government agencies as required by law.

5.2

The Mail Station does not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

7.1

The Mail Station is not liable for delays, loss, theft, or damage to mail or packages caused by USPS, FedEx, UPS, or other carriers.

7.2

The Mail Station's liability, if any, is strictly limited to a refund of prepaid mailbox rental fees for services not yet rendered.

7.3

The Mail Station is not responsible for consequential, indirect, or incidental damages.

8.1

By signing up for mailbox or shipping services, you consent to receive transactional SMS notifications including:

• Package pickup alerts (USPS/FedEx)
• Mailbox rental renewals
• Account updates and payment confirmations

8.2 Message Frequency:

Varies by account activity.

8.3 Message & Data Rates:

Standard carrier rates may apply.

8.4 Opt-out:

Reply STOP to cancel SMS notifications.

8.5 Help:

Reply HELP or call (360) 805-9250 for assistance.

8.6 No Sale of Mobile Data:

Your mobile number will never be sold or shared for marketing purposes.

8.7 Consent Not Required for Service:

SMS consent is not a condition of receiving mailbox or shipping services.

8.8

We may use automated technology (autodialers) to send SMS notifications.

9.1

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

9.2

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Snohomish County, Washington.
